The afternoon was pretty tame and typical. The Houston humidity was relatively intense with water practically rolling down your lungs.

If you look hard enough on the internet, you can still see remnants of a time long past.

Arguably one of my favorite restaurants shut down this past month and while the pain still lingers, I understand how much Houston has changed and how many of the restaurants that did survive covid were hanging on by a string.

At the edge of Navigation Blvd, Wonky Power Records produced a show and Parker Luis served me some vodka.

It's been 10 years since I left the Houston music scene. Montrose has gentrified and the traffic is insane.
