Stock Finds: John Deere (DE)

While having a conversation with some coworkers. We landed on the topic of farming and John Deere. I looked up the stock ticker and holy returns batman!

Local Overview

I was aware that John Deer sells machines for lawn care, and they also have some cool hats, but I wasn't aware they have four segments: Production and Precision Agriculture, Small Agriculture and Turf, Construction and Forestry, and Financial Services. Financials

In regard to how I would play this stock. The EPS stands at a 20.70 and PE Ratio is 25.12 @ post, but there appears to be a seasonal dip around May of each year going back 5 years. The stock price appears to have tripled over the past five years, and openinsider shares that there's been minimal movement from insiders at the company.

News and Media:
